JANASPANDAN PROGRAMME

People of any area can be called as human resource if they are provided with proper education, training, health and other facilities and securities. We still find many downtrodden people in the society devoid of minimum basic needs and facilities. They are becoming liabilities than assets. Government has launched and implemented several beneficiary oriented programmes to eradicate poverty. Crores of rupees have been spent for uplifting the downtrodden and backward people. But the number of such people is increasing rather than decreasing. The main reason for this is that the benefits are not reaching the eligible persons. Hence the Government is going to the doors of the poor and needy people and to avoid them coming to Taluka and District Head quarters.

Jana Spandana is the only program by which the government can go to the door steps of the poor and provide facilities on the spot. It is a new step towards helping the needy. This program has been launched successfully from 8/8/2008 much ahead of the government order. So far 25 Jana Spandana Programs have been conducted in the hobli head quarters of all taluks. Out of 85,819 applications received as many as 49,398 applications have been disposed off . In these Jana Spandana sabhas sanction order have been issued to the beneficiaries as under
